GT has directed the first day of a film recording the rejuvenation of the East Glasgow district in preparation for the Commonwealth Games. GT is looking forward to getting to know the people and the area. Produced by Sarah Gill at Arc.

GTMP has been commissioned to produce a autostereoscopic 3D film. This is an exciting commission using the latest in video and post production technology. The film will be shown along side an exhibition to tell the tale of the dueling cloth millers, Arkwright and Crompton. The film will be presented in portrait between oil paintings of the two men. Accurate casting and costume will be required to sell the affect.

GTMP has won the commission to produce the AV for the upcoming NLS exhibition presenting The John Murray Archive. Working with a team of actors, GTMP will recreate the voices of Darwin, Livingston, Scott and other great intellectual figures as they read extracts from The John Murray Archive.

Euan Myles (an award-winning advertising photographer who has just directed his first commercial for Alzheimers Scotland) and Finlay Wilson (fishing guide, writer for Trout and Salmon and sports journalist for the Scotsman group) have teamed up with GTMP to produce a series of inspirational fishing films. Using the incredible, cinematic Canon 5D MKII Video we are busy capturing the magic of fly fishing - watch this space!

The Montpelier Groups 21st-century hospitality training system has arrived. The marathon video production of the 68 films included in the modules, from 24 hours of rushes, is now complete but there is talk of taking it to an stage, Manhattan anyone? You can check it out here: FLOW

The film ‘Within These Walls’, which explores the Royal Museum of Edinburgh development project can be seen on the NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCOTLAND website.

GTMP won the The Lighthouse tender to produce 4 films in support of the autumn monograph exhibition and book celebrating the work of architect GARETH HOSKINS and his practice. GTMP is working very closely with Leonie Bell and David Berry at the Lighthouse to present the vital elements of GHA’s work which merge to create the landmark buildings featured, such as the National Trust For Scotland’s CULLODEN visitor centre.

Filming the work in progress of JUPITER ARTLAND. Bonnington House sculpture gardens are building a collection of pieces by the major sculptors of the British contemporary art scene, including work commissioned from Anthony Gormley.

Two films produced for The National Library of Scotland using archive material.
'A swing through time' charts the social history of golf in Scotland and highlights the influences that made golf the game we know today. The exhibition explores how an ordinary 'ball and stick' game took hold in Scotland and eventually transformed into what is now a billion-dollar industry.

GTMP is now working directly with FLOW, a part of the Montpelier Group, providing further video content and promotional films for the very successful training program.

LG Electronics, who provided the screen are using the project as a case study to demonstrate the successful use of the screen in an exhibition environment.

Commissioned by Speakeasy during a busy period this summer to direct and cut to offline two films for their client DTS. Previews of offline edits in progress delivered via FTP to producer Mark Turner at Speakeasy for approval. Once both films were signed off to offline the Speakeasy drive with the whole project was delivered back to the in house online editors for GFX and completion.
A great system for busy production houses when all in house directors are too busy to deliver to regular clients.
RED ROW - 422
Freelance directing / shooting another long term project with Sarah Gill at 422 for Glasgow Housing Association. A film to record the residents and lead up to the blow down of the Red Row blocks.
TALISKER WHISKY ATLANTIC CHALLENGE

Three months ago I received an email from a contact at Kessels Kramer asking, “how would you like to spend a couple of months on a yacht crossing the Atlantic?”, as a sailor who has rarely been beyond the site of land for more than a few days and with an ocean crossing in my bucket list, of course I said yes. 2 and a half weeks later, after a mad rush of reorganising my life so I could walk away from it for 3 months, after buying and preparing equipment I arrive in La Gomera, Canary Islands, to begin this incredible adventure.
